Family Yoga Session from 6:30-7:30 pm
with instructor Katharyn Feher

This will be a practice of mindfulness, stretching and movement, and we will have some fun moving together.  It is light-hearted and low pressure! No experience necessary!

Wednesday

Family Zumba Session from 6:30-7:00
with instructor Anne Marie Boll

The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba ® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.

Thursday

Family Fun in the Kitchen from 7:00-8:00 pm
with Amy Sonnenberg, Registered Holistic Nutritionist

Amy invites us into her kitchen to share some of her best tips & tricks for getting your kids on board with healthy eating.  You’ll also have the opportunity to create something delicious in your kitchen as a family.  Click here for the grocery list. Not sure you want to cook with us?  No problem!  Come anyways and watch how she puts together a simple & delicious veggie dip and homemade granola bars that your kids will gobble up!

Nurturing Your Child’s Emotional Health from 6:00-7:00 pm
with speaker Sara Westbrook

A child’s emotional state affects their performance at school, their relationships and their physical and mental well-being.  Emotions can be hard to identify, to move through and hardest of all…to talk about.  In this presentation parents and guardians will learn 3 Strategies to help develop resilience and emotional well-being in children.

The events for the week are funded by a Parent Reaching Out Grant that we received from the Ministry of Education.
