The Council of the Township of Woolwich has passed a resolution to move the crossing guard from the signalized intersection at Church and Arthur Streets in Elmira to the intersection of Church Street West and Country Club Estates Drive effective September 26, 2016. The relocation of the Crossing Guard is required because the Crossing Guard at Church and Arthur Streets is serving very few students while the school crossing at Church Street West and Country Club Estates Drive must have two Crossing Guards on a permanent basis.
