Dear Parents,

Due to very cold temperatures that have been forecasted in the next 24 hours, we are postponing the Grade 4 and 5 trip to Chicopee tomorrow. Chicopee has been contacted and they have been very accommodating, understanding the cold temperatures make for a less than memorable ski experience. As such, we have rebooked a date with both Chicopee Ski Club and the bus line.

The new date will be Thursday, March 12, 2015. Our new departure time will be 8:15 a.m. on the 12^th. Doors will open at 8 a.m. the day of and we look to leave promptly at 8:15. We will send a reminder home with the students as the new date approaches. No other paperwork will be necessary. All forms and money handed in to this point will be kept on file and used for this trip.

Volunteers, please email or contact Mr. Rohr at bruce_rohr@wrdsb.on.ca to verify your attendance on this date. If you can’t make it, you will be reimbursed for the amount you paid. If you couldn’t attend this trip, but are able to come on the 12^th, please contact your child’s teacher and ask for a waiver form. The teacher will also collect your payment.

Students received their pizza lunches today if they had an order in. The grade 4 and 5 students will not receive pizza tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We would like to ensure that this trip leaves all of our junior students with a lasting memory. We look forward to that on Thursday, March 12, 2015. If you have any other questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
